I am from flower walls and soccer balls and swings
I am from a broken fence and in a sense two of everything
I am from azalea trees whose flowers bloom pink in March
I am from movie nights, tacky lights, from happy and grumpy hearts
I am from chicken fights and fishing trips and late Rummikub nights
From paddle boards and late-night s’mores and not turning off the lights

From pumpkin bread to lying in bed to get some needed sleep
I am from making films and having thrills doing everything
I know that I am from these moments as I am from the
Azalea Trees
