YES, I AM NOT THE BEST-LOOKING. I am not like the Instagram models you see every day. No, I don’t like going to parties or going outside at all. I’d rather play video games and chill inside with my friends. Yes, I understand boys play basketball or shooting games. Yes, I like being by myself if I’m forced to go to a party. No, I don’t care. Why are you asking so much? I like the way I am and no one on this earth can tell me otherwise. I’m this goofy, loving, fun gamer chick who really likes making music and writing stories that the whole world can see.
No, I don’t like to reveal my body as much. Nobody has to criticize the way I look and down me as a young black female. They can only pay attention to the inside (aka my personality). Yes, I’m from New Orleans, and I do have an accent, but don’t assume since I’m from here I’m on the streets all the time with no supervision whatsoever. My mom is raising a young queen. Yes, I hate society and the way that it’s changing. Women are being oversexualized and men are choosing lighter women over darker when they should realize all black is beautiful. However, I do believe they have smart people who aren’t sick in the head somewhere in this world.
Yes, I have big dreams to go to London and travel the world and perform even though I have horrible stage fright. I love to sing and rap about how I’m feeling. Music still have a feeling, right? No, I will never write about the “street life” or whatever you want to call it. I’m a young black creator and I wanna give people something they can feel. Yes, I do have low self-esteem, but can you blame me? I keep getting degraded about the outside so much and people don’t know my actual personality. I bet if the world started paying attention, people would be with all kinds of people. Now, I wouldn’t say it’s my intention going into detail about this; it’s just telling my opinion. Speaking my mind, you know, because you really don’t see that nowadays.
One day I want to sit in a chair and talk about how I feel about this world and see how many people will like me then. Let’s see who will either agree with me, or hate me. Yes, I know I get off topic sometimes, but that’s just me because I have a lot in my head that I want to let out. I might be young, but I understand this generation very good. There’s nothing in this generation that will stop me from being myself and opening up to people. And I hope that this also inspires other girls like me to be the same way. You shouldn’t have to worry about society and how they feel about you. I want to tell girls younger than me to be a leader. Social media is a test that we, including myself, failed. But it’s also a chance to see brighter than what they show us. The world is mine, the world is yours.
Yes, I do stand out and I love it.
