The New Orleans Career Center (NOCC) is a state-of-the-art campus that provides high-quality workforce training and career development and prepares high school students and adults for careers in high-wage, high-demand industries:
- Healthcare
- Building Trades
- Engineering/Manufacturing
- Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management
- Digital Media
All courses are developed in partnership with local employers and every NOCC career path points toward entry-level jobs that pay higher than a living wage and offer real ladders to professional growth.
High School Program
High school juniors and seniors spend half the day at their home high school and the other half at NOCC. Trainees earn professional credentials, certifications, and college credit through rigorous industry-informed coursework, workplace rotations, and additional exposure opportunities to build their professional networks.
Who can attend NOCC and how much does it cost?
The New Orleans Career Center is open to all public high school students in Orleans Parish and to adults 18 or older with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
High school and adult trainees pay no fees to attend.
