Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Aries wants to save the world just for the sake of a battle or quest. They care deeply about everything and at the same time often feel detached from it all. Remaining fully engaged is a daily exercise for Aries. Aries rules the mind and wants to express themself freely, a desire they also want for everyone else as well. The lesson for Aries is to strike a balance between goals set for themselves and others.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus teaches us how to live our best life, but they have a hard time with change and often find themselves in a habitual loop for the sake of it without seeking to discover new ways to evolve. If they learn to use their stubbornness in a way that promotes a fixed desire but requires change, they learn to discover more facets of themselves. The lesson for Taurus is to learn to be flexible in order to obtain greater abundance.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Gemini learns about themself through other people. Often, they surround themselves with others and neglect their own personal growth as if their social life is some type of science experiment. Gemini loves to toy with things, to test things out, and to explore. Their minds don’t shut off and they think about their loved ones often. Gemini must learn to stop using logic to define things that only love can explain. By doing so, they free themselves from a smaller window and open up the entire universe to explore.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancer tries to take care of everyone else instead of themself. Cancer rules the ego, and as the moon is always in partial shadow, Cancers never really see the full picture of their life either. They will neglect whole areas of self-care and then wonder why they feel miserable. Cancer needs to balance how much they give away and how much they keep close for their own survival’s sake. The lesson for Cancer is to always choose themselves and trust that they know what’s best for their life.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Leo protects what makes us human and is a fierce defender of what they have chosen to keep close. This includes love, loyalty, bravery, and creativity. Leo is the performer, the artist, the hero, the best friend, the center stage icon with a heart of gold. Leos must create to survive, and in order to best create, they must be true to themselves and express themselves as brightly as the sun shines. The lesson for Leo is to understand that their uniqueness makes them powerful.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Virgo lives to serve. They want everyone to be comfortable and they have only the highest standards. Virgos tend to attract narcissistic people, or “vampires” if you will, who drain their good will and energy. But Virgo won’t compromise their goals and that means they suffer from deficits once depleted. Virgo needs to learn to establish personal boundaries and limit the level of work they give to the world so they can open up more potential and grow in a healthier way.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Libra wants everyone to get along. They want everything to be beautiful and incredible. Because of this, some Libras can fall into a shallow standard for themselves. Reaching deep within can show Libra that they possess the strength to have that hard conversation, say no, or take time to rest. Because Libra is so easy breezy, it’s important to choose friends carefully as they tend to take on the personalities of those around them. For Libra the big life lesson is to define themselves by their character and heart, not by who they know and what they have.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Scorpio is passionate about being alive. They feel deeply, they seek to understand, they want to be full-on in love with life. As a result, they’re choosy and can be distant as they are sizing up situations or people. Scorpio cannot handle being rejected—it’s one of those deep wounds for many of them. Because of this, they need to learn to trust their own intuition when dealing with others and act accordingly. In order to best learn to trust others, Scorpios have to learn first to trust themselves.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius wants to see and do it all. The problem is that they sometimes try to do it all at once. That doesn’t usually work out great for the ones who don’t know the word “moderation.” Sag loves to talk, travel, and learn. There’s often a misconception with these folks that there is an end goal. But there is not. The goal is to keep living and remain a student of life forever entrenched in the experiences that are available. Taking time to practice moderation is essential for Sag who does everything to the extreme and struggles with burnout as a result.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn loves to work. They will work their entire lives away and treat fun or rest as a weakness. Sometimes, Capricorn may seem aloof or cold, but their work is always centered around security. They want nothing more than emotional security and oftentimes throw themselves into projects in order to avoid their feelings. A big life lesson for Capricorn is to allow themselves to feel things without reacting as if it threatens their perception of personal control. Being vulnerable is a strength too.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius is excellent at making decisions for other people. It’s important for Aquarius to network and link other people together. By doing so, they understand how people work and can further dive into their own psyches. Often struggling with their identities at a young age, alt kid Aqua is a trailblazer. They know what’s coming and they’re not afraid to try it first. And their huge network of friends helps them stay on that wave. A big lesson for Aquarius is to develop deep personal relationships within their large circles instead of keeping large numbers of casual friends.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Pisces is always there to help with whatever you need. Sometimes, they do this so much that they become a martyr. Some fish folks even think this is the goal. It is not. Pisces has to learn where to draw the line, where to take space and create and be alone. Pisces wants everyone to be happy and because of this, they love to serve and assist however they can. Often, they assume the best in others, which, quite frankly, can be rather delusional at times. A huge lesson for Pisces is to learn to prioritize themselves instead of giving everything away for potentially nothing in return.
