Love Yourself Spell

Showing yourself some love is so important because you’re important. Being a young witch means valuing yourself and owning the space you take up in this world. It means that you’re not afraid to love the skin you’re in. is self-love spell is perfect for the beginner witch who needs that extra bit of confidence to embrace their* emotions fully and help others do the same.

What is a Spell Jar?

The idea of a spell jar is to have a physical vessel of what you want in your life, which in this case is self-love!

What You’ll Need

AN EMPTY JAR
Recycle your jars at home! Empty jelly and tomato sauce jars are perfect (tomato is a magical fruit and symbolizes healing, just like jelly). Keep the jar, including the lid, and clean it out.
INGREDIENTS
Your spell jar is supposed to hold everything sweet that you love. You can ll it with copies of your favorite poems, song lyrics, dried owers, candy, chocolate, and whatever else you can think of that makes you feel loved. You can even sing your favorite song into the jar or put some of your hair inside because hair is sacred (it represents knowledge and is said to hold all of the lessons learned throughout your life).
Pro tip: Make sure not to use anything that can rot!

Steps

STEP ONE
Wash out your jar. In the background, play some of your favorite music that always makes you feel happy.

STEP TWO
Pick out what you’d like to ll your jar with and ll it! We always recommend to start with the sweetest thing and go from there. Use your intuition and don’t overthink. is part is all about listening to your emotions and nurturing yourself.

STEP THREE
Seal it! Put the lid on the jar and you’re all done. If you’d like you can decorate your jar. Once it’s closed, you have to keep it closed. Keep the jar on your night stand or in a safe place where it won’t be disturbed.
