Since as long as I can remember
I’ve been chasing light,
I’ve been trying to turn immortal the things I love,
I’ve been taking pictures of sunsets,
For days and days on end,
For that moment
When you look up at the sky
And see that view,
To call it heavenly wouldn’t be doing it justice,
To feel for a moment swayed with joy deep within your chest,
To feel wonder
To feel light
It’s something that I’ll be chasing for the rest of my life,
Because not even a photograph can capture so heavenly light.
